so i bought this chair YEARS ago and it has been moved from garage to garage to garage.
i think i paid 10 bucks for it at a garage sale. ugly. green. leather.
it took me so many motivational speeches to myself to get it done.
pulling staples out of wood with plyers to rip of gross leather is no fun...
however, stapling cute fabric to wood is:
it was hard work and i'm not completely satisfied with my end result, but it works.
and it was quite the learning experience.
my fabric was really clearance and i want to add a pink pillow instead of the orange.
my advice? don't try this unless your ready for a 3 year long headache!
that is, if your a procrastinator like me:)

Wow! I LOVE it and am so impressed! If I buy an ugly, cheap chair would you do that for me?
What an awesome finished project!!!
I think you could do just about anything....
shay that turned out cute. i am surprised by your fabric. it isn't crazy and colorful like you, but gorgwous nontheless.

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT! I just lack the vision to see what things can be! I have another friend just like you--very crafty with vision for the beauty in things! Way to go!
SO cute! Love it, great job!
I remember seeing that chair in your garage once. A girl friend and I have been trying to talk ourselves into trying it on another garage sale find. What we can't figure out is all the right tucking and stapling, or gluing...
I guess there's really only one way to find out though! Here's to yard sale treasures and learning on them. Looks fab!
Your talents never cease to amaze me!! I love the chair!
Wow, congrats! Looks great!
